Charred Ash Brush
These Vegan Climbing brushes are made from solid pieces of Ash hardwood though all offcuts and made with Plant fibre for bristles.
With each brush handle Is preserved by using the Yakisugi technique, this is where i use fire to burn the wood and then treating it. This makes it stronger and waterproof as it was traditionally used on wooden structures in Japan.
But it makes the grain stand out and gives the wood a glass like finish.
Each is crafted by hand so is unique in shape and size but each brush is roughly 20cm Long.
These brushes can be replaced when you have worn it down.
Its Vegan as there are no animal products, its made to be sustainable as its made from potential waste. Making this one of the eco friendly climbing brushes around.
WARNING: The cactus fibres are really tough and should not be used on soft rock like sandstone.
